Biography Publications Institution JoVE Articles Jean-Sébastien Teoh Jean – Sebastien Teoh is a graduate research student in the department of Anatomy and Developmental Biology at Monash University, Melbourne Australia. Sebastien completed his Bachelor and Master of Science at The University of Leuven (KU Leuven, Belgium) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biotechnology, majoring in molecular biology and animal physiology. His Masters research project was undertaken in the research group of functional genomics and proteomics (KU Leuven), where he studied the involvement of a set of novel disease-modifying genes on the mechanisms of cognitive decline in C. elegans.During his Masters’ education, Sebastien further developed an interest in neurobiology, especially on how the nervous system repairs itself subsequent to injury. Currently, as a PhD Candidate, Sebastien is studying the importance of microtubule dynamics and its regulators during axon regeneration and degeneration in the nematode C. elegans.
