Beschrijven we een snelle en effectieve methode voor de zuivering van mitochondriën van de gist<em> Saccharomyces cerevisiae</em>. Deze methode maakt het mogelijk hoog rendement isolatie van pure mitochondriën die in wezen vrij is van besmetting door andere organellen en behouden hun structurele en functionele integriteit na de zuivering.
