We beschrijven een gestroomlijnde protocol voor het genereren van "filet" bereidingen van Drosophila embryo's van bepaalde genotypen. Dit protocol maakt een efficiënte uitvoering van een variëteit van genetische screens. Het maakt ook een uitstekende visualisatie van structuren in de late embryo.
