Kankerstamcellen (CSCs) zijn geïdentificeerd in een aantal maligniteiten. In dit protocol beschrijven we een flowcytometrische methode waarbij aldehyde dehydrogenase activiteit en CD44 en CD24 expressie CSCs isoleren van menselijke pancreas adenocarcinoom xenotransplantaten. Deze levensvatbare cellen kunnen vervolgens worden gebruikt in functionele en analytische studies.
