Apresentamos os procedimentos para demonstrar que ligantes se ligam à superfície da membrana de celulose de digestão destes protozoários no intestino de cupins subterrâneos Formosan por microscopia de fluorescência e que juntamente com peptídeos ligantes líticas matar protozoários<em> In vitro</em> (Cultura protozoários anaeróbios) e<em> In vivo</em> (Injecção no intestino posterior de cupins).
