I newt, återskapar linsen alltid från den dorsala iris genom transdifferentiation av iris pigmenterade epitelceller (Info-Point). Här beskriver vi ett förfarande för att kultur rygg-och ventral newt IPE celler och deras implantation till newt ögat. De implanterade cellerna sedan studeras genom vävnad snittning och immunohistokemi.
