Het meten van gyrification (corticale vouwen) op elke leeftijd is er een venster in de vroege ontwikkeling van de hersenen. Vandaar dat we reeds ontwikkelde een algoritme om de lokale gyrification meten op duizenden punten over het halfrond<sup> 1</sup>. In deze paper wordt detail de berekening van deze lokale gyrification index.
