En parasit-rednings-og transformationsassay med THP1 inficerede celler<em> In vitro</em> Med<em> Leishmania donovani</em> Er blevet optimeret til anti-leishmanial lægemiddel screening. Analysen omfatter differentiering af THP1 celler, infektion med promastigoter, behandling med testlægemidlerne, kontrolleret lysis af de inficerede makrofager, redning af amastigoter, transformation til promastigoter og overvågning promastigote vækst og proliferation med en fluorometrisk analyse.
