Deze video demonstreert de procedures voor de karakterisering van humane pancreatische eilandjes met hematoxyline en eosine (H & E) en immunohistochemie (IHC). Pancreas delen van het hoofd, lichaam en staart regio's worden gekleurd door zowel H & E en IHC te eilandje endocriene samenstelling (insuline, glucagon, en pancreas polypeptide), cel-replicatie (Ki67) en inflammatoire infiltraten (H & E, CD3) te bepalen. De uncinate regio is gelokaliseerd met behulp van IHC voor pancreas polypeptide.
