Denne videoen viser prosedyrer for karakterisering av humane pankreas holmer med hematoxylin og eosin (H & E) og immunhistokjemi (IHC). Pankreas deler fra hode, kropp og hale regioner er farget av både H & E og IHC å bestemme holmen endokrine sammensetning (insulin, glukagon, og bukspyttkjertelen polypeptid), celle replikering (Ki67) og inflammatoriske infiltrater (H & E, CD3). Den uncinate regionen er lokalisert ved hjelp av IHC for bukspyttkjertelen polypeptid.
