Ett verktyg och kemiska beskrivs att sekventiellt isolera nukleinsyror följt av proteiner från ett prov utan behov av el. Verktyget består av en sorbent hålls inom en överföringspipett medan isolering kemiska bygger på fast fas extraktion principer. De isolerade makromolekyler kan analyseras genom immuno-baserade och PCR-baserade analyser.
