Cancro fibroblasti associati (CAF) facilitare l'iniziazione del tumore, la crescita e la progressione attraverso la segnalazione che promuove la proliferazione, l'angiogenesi, e l'infiammazione. Qui si descrive un metodo per isolare popolazioni pure di fibroblasti normali e CAF dal topo freschi e tessuti umani mediante selezione delle cellule, utilizzando PDGFRα come marcatore di superficie.
