En teknik för att genetiskt manipulera epitelceller i hela<em> Ex vivo</em> Odlade embryonala mus submandibulära körtlar (SMGS) med viral genöverföring beskrivs. Denna metod utnyttjar den inneboende förmågan hos SMG epitel och mesenkym att spontant rekombinera efter separation och infektion av epiteliala anlag med adenovirusvektorer.
