De ventriculaire cerebrospinale vloeistof (CSF) baadt de neuro-epitheliale en cerebrale corticale progenitorcellen tijdens de vroege ontwikkeling van de hersenen in het embryo. Hier beschrijven we de methode ontwikkeld om ventriculaire CSF isoleren van knaagdieren embryo's van verschillende leeftijden om zijn biologische functie onderzoeken. Daarnaast tonen wij onze cerebrale corticale explantatie dissectie en cultuur techniek die voor explantatie groei mogelijk maakt met een minimale hoeveelheid voedingsoplossing of liquor.
