عدوى الإنسان عن طريق المتحولة الحالة للنسج يؤدي إلى الأميبية، سببا رئيسيا من أسباب الإسهال في البلدان الاستوائية. وبدأت العدوى عن طريق التفاعلات الممرض مع الخلايا الظهارية في الأمعاء، مما أدى إلى افتتاح اتصالات خلية خلية، وبالتالي الإسهال، يليه في بعض الأحيان عن طريق العدوى الكبد. توفر هذه المقالة نموذج لتقييم مبكر التفاعلات المضيف الممرض لتحسين فهمنا للالأميبية المرضية.
