Vi rapporterar här robusta och effektiva uttryck av fluorescerande proteiner efter mRNA injektion i obefruktade oocyter av Lansettfisk. Utvecklingen av mikroinjektion tekniken i denna basala chordate kommer att bana väg för långtgående tekniska innovationer inom detta framväxande modellsystem, inklusive in vivo imaging och genspecifika manipulationer.
