De muizen ABC transporter Bcrp1 (ABCG2) als voorbeeld, in-silico protocollen worden alternatieve promoter gebruik detecteren genen tot expressie gebracht in muizenweefsels en de functionaliteit van de alternatieve promotors geïdentificeerd onder toepassing reporter assays te evalueren.
