Wij ontwikkelden twee traceren combinaties Rosa26 tdtomato (alomtegenwoordig tot expressie in alle cellen) / Cre (specifiek tot expressie in chondrocyten) muizen: één met 2.3Col1a1-GFP (specifiek voor osteoblasten) en een met immunofluorescentie (specifiek voor botcellen). De gegevens tonen de directe omzetting van chondrocyten in botcellen.
