Denne protokol demonstrerer murin islet isolering og såning på en decellulariseret stillads. Stilladsunderstøttede øer blev transplanteret i den epididymiske fedtpude af streptozotocin (STZ) -inducerede diabetiske mus. Islets overlevede på transplantationsstedet og reverserede den hyperglykæmiske tilstand.
