Ø-analysen er en relativt ny, omkostningseffektive assay, der kan bruges til at evaluere grundlæggende bevægeapparatet funktionsmåden for Drosophila melanogaster. Dette manuskript beskriver algoritmer til automatisk databehandling og objektiv kvantificering af øen assay data, hvilket gør dette assay en følsom, høj overførselshastighed udlæsning til store genetiske eller farmakologiske skærme.
