Dit artikel laat zien hoe cultuur Arabidopsis thaliana zaailingen in een twee-laag microfluidic platform dat de belangrijkste wortel en root haren op een interne optische vlak beperkt. Dit platform kan worden gebruikt voor real-time optische beeldvorming van fijne wortel morfologie alsook wat betreft hoge resolutie beeldvorming door andere middelen.
