Reproducable eksperimentel dyremodeller er nødvendige til afprøvning af nye embolisering materialer, som er designet til at behandle endovaskulære okklusion af intrakranielle aneurismer (IA). De nuværende undersøgelse sigter mod at udvikle en sikker og standardiseret kirurgisk teknik for stent bistået embolisering af saccular aneurismer i en rotte dyremodel.
