Her præsenterer vi en enkel metode til at kvantificere hæmatopoietisk stilk og stamfader celler (HSPCs) i embryonale zebrafisk. HSPCs fra dissocierede zebrafisk er belagt i methylcellulose med understøttende faktorer, differentiere til modne blod. Dette giver mulighed for påvisning af blod pixeldefekter og giver mulighed for narkotika screening for at foretages nemt.
