Nye protokoller er beskrevet her for å isolere og karakterisere microparticles avledet fra menneskelige og mus nøytrofile. Disse protokollene benytte ultracentrifugation, flowcytometri og immunoblotting-teknikker for å analysere microparticle innhold, og de kan brukes til å studere rollen til microparticles fra ulike celletyper i cellulære funksjoner.
