Hier beschrijven we de intracraniële subarachnoïdale route van infectie bij muizen te bestuderen van de rollen van biofilms in Streptococcus suis meningitis. Deze infectie model is ook geschikt voor de studie van de pathogenese van andere bacteriële meningitis en werkzaamheid van nieuwe medicijnen tegen bacteriële meningitis.
