Presenteren we een protocol voor het meten van zuurstofverbruik en extracellulaire verzuring in Drosophila melanogaster larvale en volwassen hersenen. Een metabole analyzer wordt gebruikt met een aangepast en geoptimaliseerd protocol. Micro-weefsel beperkingen werden zijn een essentieel onderdeel van dit protocol en ontworpen en gemaakt speciaal voor hun gebruik in deze analyse.
