Her presenterer vi en protokoll for å infisere primære menneskelige dermal fibroblast med MCPyV. Protokollen inneholder isolering av dermal fibroblaster, utarbeidelse av MCPyV virions, virusinfeksjon, immunofluorescence flekker og fluorescens i situ hybridisering. Denne protokollen kan utvides for karakteriserer MCPyV vert interaksjoner og oppdage andre celletyper infectable ved MCPyV.
