Basert på in vitro lentiviral engineering av neuronal forløpere, deres co-transplantasjon i vill-type hjerner og sammenkoblet morphometric evaluering av "test" og "kontroll" derivater, gir denne metoden nøyaktig modellering av in vivo gen kontroll av neocortical Nevron morfologi på en enkel og rimelig måte.
