Die Histondeaketylasen der Klasse 1 (HDACs) wie RpdA haben als potenzielle Zielscheibe zur Behandlung von Pilzinfektionen an Bedeutung gewonnen. Hier stellen wir ein Protokoll zur spezifischen Anreicherung von TAP-getagenem RpdA in Kombination mit einem HDAC-Aktivitätstest vor, der in vitro Wirksamkeitsprüfung von Histon-Deacetylase-Inhibitoren ermöglicht.
