Dit protocol is ontworpen om de activiteit van ubiquitin-proteasome System (UPS) in verschillende cellulaire compartimenten van de knaagdieren hersenen efficiënt te kwantificeren. Gebruikers zijn in staat om de werking van UPS in nucleaire, cytoplasmatische en synaptische fracties in hetzelfde dier te onderzoeken, waardoor de hoeveelheid tijd en het aantal dieren dat nodig is om deze complexe analyses uit te voeren, wordt verminderd.
