Vi beskriver en metode for fremstilling av enkelt nyisolert detrusor glatte muskelceller fra menneskelige urinblæreprøver som bruker en to-trinns enzymatisk prosedyre. De oppnådde levedyktige DSM-cellene kan studeres av ulike enkeltcelleteknikker, inkludert den beskrevne amfotericin-B patch-clamp elektrofysiologi for å avsløre fysiologiske og farmakologiske egenskaper.
