Dit manuscript beschrijft een protocol om te bepalen of blootstelling aan ozon, een criterium luchtverontreinigende stof, in vivo alveolaire macrofaag-efferocytose belemmert. Dit protocol maakt gebruik van veelgebruikte reagentia en technieken en kan worden aangepast aan meerdere modellen van long letsel om de effecten op alveolaire macrofaag efferocytose te bepalen.
