Vi præsenterer en protokol til at evaluere balancen mellem glutamat frigivelse og clearance på enkelt korticostriatal glutamatergic synapser i akutte skiver fra voksne mus. Denne protokol bruger fluorescerende sensor iGluu til glutamat detektion, en sCMOS kamera til signal erhvervelse og en enhed til fokal laser belysning.
