Das Ziel dieser Methode ist es, fibroblast-abgeleitete 3D-Matrizen als natürliches Gerüst für nachfolgende zelluläre Assays zu erhalten. Fibroblasten werden in einer vorbehandelten Kulturplatte gesät und mit Ascorbinsäure für die Matrixgenerierung stimuliert. Matrizen werden dezellularisiert und an kulturrelevante Zellen (z. B. Endothelzellen) blockiert.
