Här beskriver vi en robust metod för att bestämma immuncellsidentitet och renhet genom epigenetiska signaturer som upptäcks med kvantitativ PCR (qPCR). DNA-demethylation vid en viss locus fungerar som en unik identifierare för en viss celltyp och möjliggör identifiering av CD8+, reglerande eller Th17 T-celler.
