Vi beskriver en protokoll for ultralyd veiledet implantation av murine-avledet bukspyttkjertel ductal adenokarsinom cellelinjer direkte inn i den innfødte tumor området. Denne tilnærmingen resulterte i bukspyttkjertelen svulster oppdages av ultralyd skanning innen 2-4 uker av injeksjon, og betydelig redusert andelen tumor celle seeding på bukhulen i forhold til kirurgisk orthotopic implantation.
