Het doel van dit protocol is om twee verschillende celtypen te fuseren om hybride cellen te maken. Fluorescentiemicroscopie analyse van gesmolten cellen wordt gebruikt om de cel van oorsprong van cellulaire organellen te volgen. Deze test kan worden gebruikt om te onderzoeken hoe cellulaire structuur en functie reageren op perturbatie door celfusie.
