En ny tre-dimensionel sfænode model baseret på den heterotypic interaktion af tumorceller og stromale fibroblaster er etableret. Her præsenterer vi coculture af tumorceller og stromale fibroblaster, time-lapse imaging, og konfokal mikroskopi til at visualisere dannelsen af sfæller. Denne tre-dimensionelle model tilbyder en relevant platform til at studere tumor-stroma interaktioner og teste kræft terapeutiske.
