Vi beskriver en immunfluorescens og kvantitativ PCR-metode til lokalisering og kvantificering af begomovirus i insektvæv. Immunofluorescensprotokollen kan bruges til at colocalize virale og vektorproteiner. Den kvantitative PCR-protokol kan udvides til at kvantificere virus i hele whitefly organer og virus-inficerede planter.
