Burada, üç boyutlu bir alanda dağıtılan her canlı hücreden doğuştan gelen hücresel floresan imzalarının (yani hücresel otofluoresans) optik olarak çıkarılması ve kataloglanması için bir protokol sunulmaktadır. Bu yöntem, bakteri, mantar, maya, bitki ve hayvanlardan gelen hücreler de dahil olmak üzere çeşitli biyolojik sistemlerin doğuştan gelen floresan imzasını tek hücreli çözünürlükte incelemek için uygundur.
