Målet med denne teknikken er ex vivo visualisering av lungearteriale nettverk av tidlige postnatale og voksne mus gjennom lungeinflasjon og injeksjon av en radio-ugjennomsiktig polymerbasert forbindelse via lungearterien. Potensielle anvendelser for støpt vev diskuteres også.
