Målet med protokollen er at give en metode til fremstilling af ikke-invasive neuronale læsioner i hjernen. Metoden udnytter Magnetic Resonance-guidet Fokuseret ultralyd (MRgFUS) til at åbne Blodhjernen Barrier i en forbigående og fokal måde, for at levere en cirkulerende neurotoksin til hjernen parenkym.
