Vi presenterer en protokoll for utvikling og bruk av en oksidativ stressmodell ved å behandle retinal pigment epitelceller med H2O2, analysere cellemorfologi, levedyktighet, tetthet, glutathione og UCP-2 nivå. Det er en nyttig modell for å undersøke antioksidanteffekten av proteiner utskilt av transposon-transfekerte celler for å behandle nevroretinal degenerasjon.
