Denne protokol beskriver en undersøgelse af de tidlige interaktioner mellem viralt inficerede nasale epitelceller og medfødt celleaktivering. Individuelle undergrupper af immunceller kan skelnes ud fra deres aktivering som reaktion på virusinfektioner. De kan derefter undersøges yderligere for at bestemme deres virkninger på tidlige antivirale reaktioner.
