Denne metodikkartikkelen presenterer en programvareassistert kvantitativ måleprotokoll for å kvantifisere histologiske subkondrale beintykkelser i murine osteoarthritic kneledd og normale kneledd som kontroller. Denne protokollen er svært følsom for subtil fortykning og er egnet for å oppdage tidlige osteoarthritic subchondral bein endringer.
