Een methode van intraductale injectie van reagentia voor een op ethanol gebaseerde ablatieve oplossing in de mamma-ductale boom van muizen voor in vivo beeldvorming en preventie van borstkanker wordt beschreven. Injectie direct in de tepelopening maakt het mogelijk om borstepitheelcellen te richten met minimale collaterale weefselschade.
