Intensiv forberedelse af intakte mus cerebrale endotelrør fra cerebrale parenkymale arterioler er illustreret til at studere cerebral blodgennemstrømningsregulering. Desuden demonstrerer vi de eksperimentelle styrker ved denne endotelundersøgelsesmodel til fluorescensbilleddannelse og elektrofysiologisk måling af vigtige cellulære signalveje, herunder ændringer i intracellulær [Ca2+] og membranpotentiale.
