השתלה תת-רשתית של אפיתל פיגמנטי ברשתית (RPE) היא אחת הגישות המבטיחות ביותר לטיפול במחלות רשתית ניווניות. עם זאת, הביצועים של מחקרים פרה-קליניים על מודלים של בעלי חיים בעלי עיניים גדולות נותרו מאתגרים. דו"ח זה מציג הנחיות להשתלה תת-רשתית של RPE על נשא תאים במיני-חזירים.
