Protokollen beskriver en trinnvis metode for å sette opp en ex vivo sau såret hudmodell infisert med Staphylococcus aureus. Denne høykapasitetsmodellen simulerer infeksjoner in vivo bedre sammenlignet med konvensjonelle mikrobiologiteknikker og presenterer forskere med en fysiologisk relevant plattform for å teste effekten av nye antimikrobielle stoffer.
