Denne protokol beskriver den på hinanden følgende implantation af en osmotisk pumpe for at inducere abdominal aortaaneurisme ved angiotensin II-frigivelse i apolipoprotein E (ApoE) mangelfulde mus og af en vaskulær adgangsport med et jugular venekateter til gentagen lægemiddelbehandling. Overvågning af aneurismeudvikling ved 3D-ultralyd udføres effektivt på trods af dorsale implantater.
